Ancient scripture ‘Kalyankarak’ by Acharya Ugraaditya said that there are two types of health: 1. Inner health With the help of knowledge and eight activities attain health beyond senses, eternal and self-happiness is called inner health. Inner health can be attained through listening, practice and knowledge. 2. External Behavioural health Balance of three dosha (vata, pitta and kapha), happiness in senses, mind and healthy body is called behavioural health. External health can be attained under the guidance of Human Science knowledgeable masters. Even if, a person is intelligent but sick, they cannot follow Dharma (the law of nature). Cannot earn wealth or attain moksha(liberation), cannot full fill desires, and cannot be called as successful human.

 Yoga Lifestyle Therapy :Without following proper and balanced lifestyle, Yoga therapy is incomplete. Our ancient Yoga Gurus have given very clear guidance for a balanced lifestyle. Gherand Samhita and Patanjali Yoga Sutra have mentioned Yama and Niyama. There are 5 Yama and 5 Niyama as per Patanjali and 10 Yama and 10 Niyama as per Maharishi Gheranda. Yogic Breathing combine with movements of Limbs is called as Yogic shvsan ang sanchlan. This is an important part of effective Yoga Therapy. Proper YSAS Body limbs awakened,energized, activated, free, flexible and refreshed. In other words, Yogic warming up combined with synchronized
breathing movements. These are essential parts of Yoga Therapy. 

 

Yoga Asana Therapy:For Yoga Chikitsa (Yoga Therapy), Asana play very
important role. These are not only physical positions but also linked to inner bodies. This is part of Hatha Yoga.Where one has to force into a position and stay there observe stillness and pleasure.

Pranayama Yoga Therapy:
Balance, and purify the Prana body, so that we can have a healthy physical body. More than 130 types of Pranayama are mentioned in Yogic science. Pranayama is not a breathcontrol system only, this is much more than breath control.
Kumbhaka and Bandhas are very useful for Yoga Therapy but must be used under the guidance of the Guru or a certified Yoga Teacher. With good practice of Pranayama,one can get rid of engrams, knots, blockages or mental stress or tensions. Pranayama balances the Prana, whichleads to balancing of mind.

 

Yogic Mudras Therapy:
Mudra means gesture or sign or money or impression. InYogic science, mudra has been given very special status.These are various signs or positions performed by various
organs of the human body to activate or channelize or balance the energy flow, healing, rising, inner awakening. Mudras are useful for powerful Yoga Therapy. For long time the knowledge of Mudra was kept secret and passing through Guru to disciple tradition. Still many Mudras are not commonly taught. Mudra can very useful in effective

Yogic Kriyas Therapy:
There are energy movements, which enable human body,mind, senses and emotions to move, act and perform. But body systems and limbs must be also operating smoothly.For smooth functions of various body systems, Yogis have gifted Shatkarmas (six kriyas). These Kriyas purifies, balance and activate human body, mind and senses.

Bahir Maun Yoga Therapy
Maun word derived from word ‘man’. Man, in Sanskrit means mind. Maun in Sanskrit means total silence.Normally ‘maun’ word is being used as silence of words.Maun is a state where neither mind nor mouth is speaking, other words maun means refraining from speech. This is some time part of Yoga Therapy, where patient is asked to observe maun so that mind and body is purified, and one can attains pure thoughts and speech. This is highly useful in psychological diseases

Antar Maun Yoga Therapy
Antar Maun means inner silence. Antar maun leads toserenity and purity. Patients with proper guidance, can start practice of antar maun and once they start glimpses of antar maun, can attain higher healing. There are more chaos or disturbance in the mind instead of outside. So
antarmaun leads to higher balance, purity and serenity

 Vishram Yoga Therapy
‘Vish’ means poison ‘ram’ is the mantra of Manipur
chakra (Solar plexus). ‘Vishram’ means relaxations. Total relaxation of body, mind, senses, emotions and surroundings. In this therapy, one can observe total rest of the body in Shavasana (corpse pose)
Poorna Tanaav Kriya (Full body tension activities)
followed by after Tvarit Vishram Kriya (Instant withdrawal activities) is highly useful for reliving many diseases. Many patients relieved from many diseases like stress, tension, anxiety,fear, phobia, etc.
 Gyan Yoga Therapy
Gyan in Sanskrit means knowledge. Knowing the self is ultimate purpose of human life. Once a person knows his true nature, get relief from many diseases.

Shuddhikaran means purification. This involves Yantra, Tantra and Mantra.

Abhay means fearlessness. Sadhana means intense practice.For relief from anxiety and stress, these techniques /practices are performed.
One of the techniques is: Spanda-Nishpandha Kriya
(tension to relaxation).Alternatively, this is also called as Chinta Chikitsa (stress and anxiety). Another name is ‘Manas Tap Chikitsa’. These
chikitsa involved various Yogik warming up, Asana,
Pranayama, Kriyas, relaxation, dharna, dhyan techniques,
etc.

 

Rog Parikshan
Rog means disease, parikshan means observations. Now a days there are many new techniques are available to diagnose the diseases with modern medicine. In Yoga Therapy one need not to hesitate in using those
pathology/ technical report / tests for diagnose the
disease and start its treatment.

 

Shodhan Yoga Therapy
Deh Shodan (body cleansing), Manah Shodan (mind cleansing), vacha Shodan (speech cleansing), Mala Shodan(impurities purification) can be part of Yoga Therapy. In
Yoga Therapy many cleansings are possible with, enema, massage therapy, etc. These can also be learned, practiced
and part of Yoga therapy

 Bhakti Yoga therapy
Bhakti word has come from another Sanskrit word, ‘Bhakt’ that means one who is undivided or cannot be divided further. Prayers, faith, and worship are major performance on this path. This path is highly helpful for the patient or person for good healing. Bhajan, chanting, music helps dive into Bhakti Yoga. When person goes deep in Bhakti Yoga,

Surya Yoga Therapy

effects our brain and thought process.
 Pranic Healing Yoga Chikitsa
Prana are life force and life energy. Without prana life is not possible. Whenever prana is active, it starts healing the place. For example, if there is pain in the hip joint, after proper warming up, start sending your prana to the affected
area. Many studies confirm that person get great amount of relief and experience relaxations.
 Kaya kalp Yoga Chikitsa
(Therapy)

Kaya means Body, kalp means rebuilding or renovationor transformation. This is also known as Kaya karshanam. This includes various internal or external activities, like selected Yogic warming up, Asana, Kriya, mudra or mala shodhan karmas.
